Willowbrook Sports Pavillion, Eton College

Windsor

Overview

The project consisted of the construction of a new sports pavilion to replace an existing tennis pavilion. This included a SIPS superstructure and roof by nominated sub-contractor – Bentley Projects.

The pavilion is discreetly located within the site, sheltered by existing trees and new planting to reduce the impact upon its surroundings.

The pavilion provides two new sets of changing facilities as well as a large internal clubhouse area. The use of floor to ceiling corner glazing and retractable screens allows the building to open up fully to the elements when in use. When not in use the building can be fully closed up providing security and privacy.

Installation of a new roof viewing terrace and staircase as well as mechanical and electrical installation with the construction of new internal data hub and associated IT works.

The project was completed with hard and soft landscaping surrounding the pavilion.
